Good points. I like the name Reserve for the junior clan more, though it means higher quality in spirits. My pick would be Canadian Club Academy, but I guess it's moot if we can't change the name. Maybe we need 2 new clans!
Still waiting to hear fom Mike, but I've changed the forum headers and I'm about ready to open it up to all members. Hoping the rest of the elders will join the discussion in the next day or two.
Keep the ideas coming!

Hey guys, been a bit busy with school atm, but I like the idea of Hoboken running CCE and Alex taking care of CC even if it's temporary. The fact that the two of you can easily communicate will help us coordinate much easier in the early goings of this "expansion". As for the CCE, I think for the transition, all members who moved from CC to CCE should have elder status because they all earned it in CC and they know what it's like to be an elder.
As for the name, I really don't have a preference but if it's going to be a more higher end clan than CC then like Kreger said, Canadian club reserve would more suitable for the current CC.
I think we need to update the rest of our members whether if it's going to be daily or every other day message, so that they don't feel like the elders are scheming to abandon them. Not sure what the timeline for this project will be, but if we continue to update our members on what we have decided or have not decided, then at least they know what's going on.

Hi guys, thanks for opening these discussions to the other members. I have been an active member for well over a year and even though never made it elder, I intend to keep on playing and participating in the future of this group. I really think that this plan is a great strategic move and if things are done in a fair manner people will not feel left out or prejudiced.
Now regarding the "Canadians only" question mentioned before I would like to say that I was not born in Canada and am not currently living there (I live in London - UK) but grew up with a Canadian family and got strong links there which make me feel Canadian by heart.
However,I think that all members should be English speakers because I remember we had a couple of members requesting stuff in others languages in the chat room before and it was just weird.
Well, those are my two cents. Looking forward to hear what you guys think.

I really wish the profiles had a 'Date of Joining' data, as it's easy to overlook someone who's been around a long time, quietly donating thousands of troops with no drama. Thanks, and congrats!
