The key with the balloons is to make sure you ONLY use flying units (balloons, minions and NOT dragons because they're just too expensive  ). This way your troops will be ignored by the mortar, cannon, ground aiming xbows, and barb kings. Limiting to only wiz towers, archers, air def, teslas and air aiming xbows. I suggest only using balloons at lvl 5/6. Minions can do the job at lvl 1. You just need a good balance between the minions and balloons. If I can find a way to record the replays I'll post it here. I also go with a 8 pack of hog riders instead of the attack spell. They usually will take out one or two ad. I then mop up with 10-20 archers after most of the defenses are gone. I don't like the archers at the end because the point of air attack is that you can avoid the walls. Sending in archers in the end will usually mean watching 5 archers shoot at 5 different walls. Hog riders are GREAT to raid with in numbers but SuperCell jacked up the cost to 65 DE for each level 5 hog.... 8 hogs each = 8 x 65 = 520, 30~45 minions = 300~450 at level 5, combining to a total of 820~970 DE per raid. I'm not saying that it's hard to get that much DE in a raid in crystal 1 but I wouldn't say its a guarantee every time. However, whatever works for you is good enough, there is no "perfect" strategy so to speak. The most important thing is to find your preferences. |

Hi Whatthe! Thanks for joining the forum! I often use BARCH (Barb/ARCH) when looting if I don't care about losing trophies. It's hard to 1 star a base without more firepower, though.
If I'm looting but don't want to drop any trophies, I send my Giants/Wallbreakers at the weakest side with my Queen behind them, usually only 2-3 more structures will put you at 50% once all the mines/pumps are gone.

I send in 3 lightning spells to take out one air defense, then 2 groups of 5/6 hogs then slam them with balloons and minions, send tn king to take out walls and follow him silty archers and the queen, works really well unless there are telsa towers, I. Need advice on what to do with them..

Hey hobo! Its easy to get 50% with BARCH! Its good up to crystal 1 at th 9! Th10 u can do it to champions if u master it! You should drop trophies because its very easy to get good loot! My elixer is full again!
